About the Founder

Prior to starting the Vansant Group, Ella Dillon built and managed the commission models, system requirements, training and communication of compensation strategy for the newly combined business group of Cingular and AT&T Wireless. Her contributions to the Company earned her the "Raising the Bar" achievement award for integration efforts. Prior to managing compensation, Ella spent a year building the AT&T Wireless and Cingular operational plans for the merger itself and was responsible for rolling the strategy out to both organizations, including 3000+ sellers. Within the first year, the business organization contributed the greatest percent of revenue to Cingular over any other distribution arm.

Ella's track record of business improvement is based on her ability to translate strategy into actionable projects and mobilize diverse groups toward the common goal. Previous to Cingular, Ella's ability to manage direct and indirect reports as well as outside partners impacted the profitability of organizations such as the Salt Lake Olympic Committee and the Seattle Times' New Media group. For the last year, Ella worked with Microsoft Office Live and Tech Strategy Partners to bring new services to market.

Ella received her BA from Princeton University where she currently serves as Secretary to her class. Ella is Mentor for Youth in Focus, a non-profit that teaches photography to city youth and is developing a Seattle-based Women's Entrepreneurship networking group.
